The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) Club of SiliconTech collaborated with the Red Cross team of Capital Hospital, to organize a blood donation camp in the campus on 6 April 2022.
The camp was inaugurated by our Director, Dr. Saroj Kanta Misra, along with the team of doctors, Faculty Coordinators, Student Secretary General, volunteers and students.
Our students and staff members volunteered in large numbers for the noble cause. About 250 students and staff members participated to donate 205 units of blood. All other necessary arrangements including refreshments and resting area were made in the campus, keeping in mind COVID-19 protocols and persisting heat wave condition.
The volunteers donated blood enthusiastically and received certificates along with identity cards from Red Cross Blood Bank.
