Silicon Quiz Club in collaboration with the Silicon Photography Club organized the ‘Harry Potter Quiz 2023’ on 1 November 2023.
The objective of this event was to educate the participants about the popular series, encourage teamwork, build a sense of community, and ultimately celebrate the beloved Harry Potter fandom.
The quiz comprised of a preliminary round followed by the final round. More than fifty five teams participated in this quiz, out of which six teams made it to the finals. The two highest scoring teams emerged as the winners and runners-up. The winners were Rajesh Panigrahi and Purnima Mishra from the CSE 2026 graduating batch and Tatsat Mohanty (CEN, 2024) and Amlita Panda (CEN, 2025) were the runners-up. Both the teams were awarded prizes.
The quiz was conducted by Quiz Master Subhojeet Biswas (ECE, 2026) and coordinated by Mr. Dhananjay Tripathy, Faculty Coordinator, Silicon Quiz Club. The active participation and enthusiastic response from the students encouraged the quiz club to host such events regularly.
