The Silicon Quiz Club in association with the Silicon Photography Club organized ‘Quizanna 2023’, an inter-school quiz competition on 21 January 2023. The senior secondary students from different schools of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack participated in this quiz competition.
The objective of this event was to provide a platform to the young students to showcase their talent and introduce them to the vast world of college quizzing.
Quiz Master Siddhant Sahoo, Secretary, Silicon Quiz Club conducted the quiz. The quiz was held in two rounds – prelims and final. The registration for the quiz was done in the online mode. A total of thirty teams from different schools participated in this event. Six out of thirty teams qualified for the final round.
DAV Public School, Unit-8, Bhubaneswar emerged as the winner of this competition. Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School, Cuttack won the 1st runner-up prize and Mother’s Public School, Bhubaneswar won the 2nd runner-up prize.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Dhananjaya Tripathy, Faculty Coordinator, Silicon Quiz Club along with the core team of the club.
