Silicon Quiz Club in association with the Silicon Photography Club organized a quiz competition titled ‘Quizient 2023’ on 1 March 2023.
The objective of this event was to encourage fun learning among the Siliconites and give them a chance to showcase their knowledge in current affairs. The theme for ‘Quizient 2023’ was ‘Sports and Entertainment’ with specific focus on Indian music, sports, and pop culture.
The quiz was held in two rounds – prelims and final. The prelims round consisted of 15 questions. It was conducted by Quiz Master Siddhant Sahoo, Secretary, Silicon Quiz Club. Six out of twenty-five teams qualified for the final round. The final round consisted of 14 questions. Two teams with the highest scores in the final round were awarded prizes.
Swaraj Mohapatra and Biswanath Pattnaik from the B.Tech. 2026 batch emerged as the winners of Quizient 2023. The runners-up of the quiz were Ashutosh Tiwari and Prakash Kumar from the B.Tech. 2025 batch.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Dhananjay Tripathy, Faculty Coordinator, Silicon Quiz Club along with the core team of the club.
