SiliconTech organizes Sangam 2021, an EBSB event (MHRD initiative) celebrating cultural unity

SiliconTech organized a one-day music fest on 11 Dec 2021 to celebrate the cultural diversity of our nation under the ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat (EBSB)’ program, an MHRD initiative of Government of India.

The EBSB program aims to enhance interaction & promote mutual understanding between people of different states and Union Territories (UTs) through the concept of state/UT pairing. Colleges of different states are paired up together to exchange cultural practices and in the process generate respect and sensitivity towards our own culture through a proper understanding and insightful learning.

Sangam 2021 was attended by school and college students from around the city. Competitions were held for classical and semi-classical singing, dancing, and instrument playing. Samarpan, the music band of our institute, performed, along with dance performances in Odissi and Lavani. There was also an Odissi dance troupe from the Nrutya Darshan Academy, a dance academy, performing in the concert. Moreover, the ISKCON Youth Forum also addressed the audience with their recitals.
