Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (SiliconTech) has been awarded the C V Raman Award for Academic Excellence 2021 in the first C V Raman award ceremony 2022 (an initiative by C V Raman Foundation), held at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar on 10 June 2022.
Two of our students also received awards. The titles of “Bigyan Jyoti 2021” and “Student of the Year 2021” and were conferred on Subhrajyoti Biswal (B.Tech. CSE, 2024) and Bibhudutta Sahoo (B.Tech. EEE, 2024) respectively.
Prof Jaya Krushna Panigrahi, Chairman, CV Raman Award Selection Board (CVRAS), Odisha gave the welcome address. Professor Omkarnath Mohanty, former Vice-Chancellor of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), was the chief guest and eminent writer Shri Bijay Das was the keynote speaker. Prof. Sudhakar Panda, Director, NISER, Bhubaneswar, gave the presidential address at the end of the program.
