The Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 did van campaigning at SiliconTech campus on 29 August 2022 with an aim to provide entrepreneurial exposure to the young minds and instill the culture of idea generation in the youth.
Startup Odisha 2.0, a flagship initiative of Startup Odisha was launched by our Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Pattnaik on 26 August 2022. It aims at scouting grassroot innovators, women entrepreneurs and promoting entrepreneurship among youth. The Yatra plans to organize bootcamps in over 100 educational institutions spread across 30 districts of the state over a period of 60 days.
The students, staff and faculty members of SiliconTech extended a warm welcome to the Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 van. Dr. Mahendra Prasad Agasty, Head of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) delivered the welcome address. Our students participated in large numbers to pitch their ideas during the campaign. One of the students, Papun Kumar Jena from ECE branch shared his idea of creating a Pocket ECG system that will be able to provide the user with data regarding his/her cardiac system. His idea was appreciated by the audience.
