The Ministry of Education (MoE) Innovation Cell, Government of India, recognized SiliconTech’s Institution Innovation Council (IIC) as one of best performing IICs on 18 November 2022, for its performance in the year 2021-22. Minister of State for Education Dr. Subhas Sarkar e-released the annual performance of Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs) for the academic year 2021-22.
Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (SiliconTech) has been recognized as the ‘best performing Institution Innovation Council’ having the highest star rating for the fourth year consecutively, by MoE, Govt. of India.
In 2021-22, SiliconTech is one of only two colleges in Odisha to receive a 4-star rating and one among the 5 colleges in the eastern zone to get this highest rating.
It is noteworthy to mention that, in the year 2020-21, SiliconTech was among 13% of the institutes across the country who got the highest rating. It was one of the 10 colleges in the eastern zone and the only college in Odisha to get this rating. The rating was made based on the institute’s performance in undertaking various innovation, entrepreneurship and start-up activities in the campus.
