The Ministry of Education (MoE) Innovation Cell, Government of India, recognized SiliconTech’s Institution Innovation Council (IIC) as one of best performing IICs on 1 December 2021, for its performance in the year 2020-21. Institution’s Innovation Council annual performance result (2020-21) was announced at a function (in virtual mode) at AICTE, New Delhi.
Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (SiliconTech) has been recognized as the ‘best performing Institution Innovation Council’ having the highest star rating for the third year consecutively, by MoE, Govt. Of India. The rating process started in the year 2018-19. In the year 2018-19, SiliconTech’s IIC was among the best 25 in the whole country. It also received the highest star rating in 2019-20.
In 2020-21, 2680 Institution’s Innovation Council of different universities/colleges participated in the rating process. SiliconTech is among 13% of the institutes across the country who got the highest rating. It is one of the 10 colleges in the eastern zone and the only college in Odisha to get this rating. The rating was made on the basis of the institute’s performance in undertaking various innovation, entrepreneurship and startup activities in the campus.
