The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) at SiliconTech organized a field trip for the students to the Odisha Start-up Hub (O-Hub) on 20 May 2022.
The visit was organized with the intent to give the students an exposure to the state-of-the-art infrastructure that facilitates start-up incubation.
The O-Hub is Odisha’s first centralized incubator, owned and operated by the state government. The O-Hub provides state-of-the-art, plug-and-play infrastructure for start-up incubation and subsidized services such as mentorship, investment facilitation, business development, co-working space, modular manufacturing etc.
32 students of SiliconTech visited O-Hub and explored its campus. The Start-up Odisha team conducted an interactive session with the students and gave them an opportunity to visit their Incubation Center and interact with the entrepreneurs working under its patronage. Start-up Odisha is an initiative of the MSME Department, Government of Odisha to promote ideas, innovations and start-ups among budding entrepreneurs.
