Webinar on functional materials for emerging technology discusses recent trends in functional materials processing

A 4-day webinar on ‘Functional Materials for Emerging Technology (FMET-2021)’ brought together national and international experts to discuss the recent trends in functional materials processing.

The national webinar held under the BPUT sponsored TEQIP III programme was organized by the Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities (BSH) at SiliconTech, in association with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna, from 2 to 5 March 2021.

The webinar brought together international and national experts from academic and research and development organizations to facilitate interactions on the recent trends in functional materials processing, characterization and its applications.

Nine eminent speakers from different premier academic and research Institutes from India, USA and Europe, delivered talks on different topics of the functional materials and their applications.

Totally, 190 participants including faculty members, young researchers and students from TEQIP and non-TEQIP institutes from Odisha, as well as from other premier institutes in India, including IISc, IITs, NITs, and other renowned technical institutes attended the webinar.
