Around 50% of the placed students get an average compensation of more than ₹5 LPA. The number of students with paid internships increases every year, with the highest internship offer going up to ₹50,000 per month in 2023.

Despite the current market scenario, SiliconTech continues to maintain its consistency in placement record for the graduating batch of 2023. Overall 83% of the graduating students received job offers by the end of June 2023. Placements at Silicon’s youngest campus, Silicon West in Sambalpur, showed promising results. More than 70 companies made job offers placing 88% of the graduating batch. Students received an average compensation package of ₹4.83 LPA. Reputed companies in product development, IT services, startups, and organizations in manufacturing, production, and construction recruit Silicon West graduates. Accenture, Asiczen Technologies, Capgemini, Cozentus, Hexaware, IBM, Infosys, Jindal Group, L&T, Prodapt, SAP Labs, SynergyLabs, Tata Power and TCS are some notable recruiters from the past years.
Silicon’s Industry Interface Cell invites prospective companies for recruitment two months ahead of the placement season. Interested companies give the eligibility criteria for students to participate. The final recruitment season starts from August of every year and lasts upto the end of the final semester.
