The Summer Internship program enables Silicon students to gain new skills and deepen their knowledge by applying their classroom learnings in simulations of real life technology projects from the industry.
The Industry Interface Cell designs the internship programs together with industry experts and in-house subject specialists. Students choose from these programs or take the initiative to look for internships on their own.
Students develop their competencies by learning through classroom and lab sessions, small projects, group discussions, presentations, and reviews. Students get a supervised learning experience. Every internship will have a Program Mentor who will support the students to complete the program.

The internship is a mandatory part of the academic curriculum at Silicon.
In 2025, Students did internships in Azure Masters and Introduction to Azure Data Engineering, Digital VLSI Design from Verilog RTL and Verification to Synthesis, Fullstack with Java Spring Boot with Angular MYSQL , Generative AI with Keras Python and ChatGPT, ML and Deep Learning Bootcamp using Python, Security Analysis Investing & Trading, DeVops masters, Block Chain with Rust, Data Science, Embedded Systems and IoT, Introduction to IoT using Raspberry Pi, Problem solving using Leetcode on DSA, SEO and Digital Marketing, and Specialized Training on Power System so as to become industry ready.
