The Central Library at Silicon West was set up in 2009. With over 21,500 volumes of books, it is at the forefront of ensuring access to the world’s educational, teaching and research resources to its student and faculty community. It is a rich repository and access point for books, journals, magazines, newspapers, digital and online resources. The careful curation makes it easy to find the most relevant and useful resource for diverse subject areas.

The Central Library spread over an area of 5550 sq.ft. provides the ideal space for individual and collaborative study. With a seating capacity of 60, the library promotes a productive environment for learning and research. The reading room with separate cubicles supports focused study.
More than 2,000 titles are available in the library for the fortnightly issue. Book Bank plays a vital role in Silicon West library as it is rich with prescribed textbooks as per the BPUT syllabus. Students can get these books issued for the whole semester at a nominal rental fee.
The library has more than 2,000 publications consisting of dictionaries, manuals, yearbooks, question banks, journals, magazines, and newspapers in the reference section. These can be used only within the library premises. A few copies of textbooks are also set aside in the reference section.
Silicon West Library subscribes to 12 National and International Journals, covering Science & Technology, Basic Science & Humanities, Health, and Social Science. There are 10 general and 12 technical magazines and eight popular multilingual news dailies available.
The reprography facility provides photocopying, printing, and scanning convenience.
The library remains open on all weekdays. Students can borrow books for different durations depending on their need. The details are as follows.
