The B.Tech. Civil Engineering (CE) program aims to provide proficiency in advanced courses enabling the students to consistently and successfully apply structural engineering principles to real-life structures.
The program equips the students with the capabilities required for identifying, formulating, and managing different issues related to water resources. Students learn to consistently and successfully apply geotechnical engineering principles to real-life geotechnical structures.
The core courses in the program are Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water resource Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. Students become adept at these courses through classroom-based theoretical learning and practical application through projects.
The program builds students’ expertise to independently carry out research and development, write and present technical reports and documents, and demonstrate mastery in Civil Engineering.

The B.Tech. CE graduates have been serving as engineers in the Departments of RWSS and Water Resources under the Government of Odisha.
