The student body representing students’ interests and engagement in Silicon West is known as the Silicon Student Council (SSC). The SSC is actively involved in building student leadership, fostering community and belonging, and positioning Silicon West as a leader in technical education.
Their initiatives build leadership skills, teamwork, and soft skills amongst the council members. The student body acts as the bridge between the administration and the student community for conducting all academic and co-curricular activities.
The Student Council is constituted annually through nominations and elections from the current student base at the Institution. The student body selects the Secretary-General, their Core Team, Joint Secretaries, and Activity Coordinators during the annual process.
The Student Council is a representative body led by the Secretary-General. The office bearers are constituted of the core team members, Secretary, Academics, and Secretary, Amenities.
