The Department of Mechanical Engineering organised an Expert Talk titled “Futuristic Approach to Engineering” on 16 July 2021 with a view to orienting the students to the technological advancements and current trends of research in the discipline of Mechanical and Production Engineering.
Dr. Vinay Sharma, Professor & Head, Department of Production Engineering, BIT Mesra was the resource person for this talk. Dr. Sharma spoke on the recent research trends in the domain of mechanical and production engineering and guided how these researches are going to bring in a paradigm shift in the technological innovations in the days to come. He also reflected on the interdisciplinary approaches to research that would significantly contribute to the growth of knowledge in diverse domains of engineering and science.
