Silicon Institute of Technology established the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at SiliconTech in 2001. The Department aims to create competitive systems using modern platforms and tools to meet real-world needs and future challenges in electronics and communications. It seeks to serve as a resource for electronics and communication engineering expertise at the local, regional, national, and global levels.
Students gain fundamental knowledge and skills in the domain through learning about electronic circuits, analog and digital communication, information theory, microprocessors and microcontrollers, VLSI & Embedded Systems, antenna and microwave engineering, mobile communication, soft-computing, signal and image processing, microelectronics, and semiconductor devices, etc.
The Department of ECE is NBA accredited and approved by AICTE.

The Department offers one undergraduate and one postgraduate program.
All our faculty members have advanced degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering and are prolific researchers. Seventy percent of the faculty members have a Ph.D. with publications in Scopus indexed journals.
VIEW THE ECE FACULTYSiliconTech ensures personalized instruction and individual attention to all students. Beyond classroom teaching, faculty members undertake consultancy projects which provide students with opportunities to learn through real-world industry and research work. Seminars, symposiums, and conferences organized throughout the year connect students to experts from outside the institute, introduce them to new developments in the field, and help them build networks.

The Department facilitates a vibrant and research-intensive environment in speech and image processing, communication systems, antenna engineering, microelectronics, semiconductor devices, VLSI, and embedded systems. Faculty members work with specialized research groups, final and pre-final year students to undertake basic and applied research. MoUs with industries and research labs promote research and entrepreneurship in electronics and communication.
