B.Tech. Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The B. Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) program gives students a deep understanding of circuits used in modern technologies, including computers. They will develop the capability to design electrical control systems and build a range of devices with applicability in diverse areas like industrial automation, aeronautics, smart grids, etc.

Few of the core subjects in the program include power electronics, electrical power transmission, and distribution, power systems analysis, etc. Students have the option to choose from many electives, from energy technology, management, electronic design, computer programming, biomedical instrumentation, etc.

This program is accredited by NBA which is a part of the Washington Accord.

I was interested in research from the beginning. Silicon nurtured my interests. I got the opportunity to research at the Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar, in the first year, Harish Chandra Research Institute, Allahabad, in the second year, and Thermax Research Technology & Innovation Center in the third year. In particular, I am grateful to my professors, who supported me whenever I needed them. I am now a research intern at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence, USA
