Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

Silicon Institute of Technology established the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) at SiliconTech in 2003. The Department aims to give students knowledge and skills for the design and integration of systems, execution of new product designs, and improvement of manufacturing processes. Students learn quality assurance and improvement of the products of a firm or organization.

Specific courses provide fundamental knowledge and skills in instrumentation devices and systems, process control and instrumentation, industrial automation and control, industrial instrumentation, biomedical instrumentation, sensors and transducers, VLSI, IoT, programmable logic controllers, virtual instrumentation, microprocessors and microcontrollers, digital signal processing, communication engineering, computer networks, and operating system.

The Department of EIE is approved by AICTE.

Teaching & Learning

SiliconTech ensures personalized instruction and individual attention to all students. Beyond classroom teaching, faculty members undertake consultancy projects which provide students with opportunities to learn through real-world industry and research work. Seminars, symposiums, and conferences organized throughout the year connect students to experts from outside the institute, introduce them to new developments in the field of instrumentation, and help them build networks.
