SiliconTech’s ED Cell signed an MoU with FreeFlow Venture Builders for training 576 students in entrepreneurship idea generation and market identification.
The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) organized an online warm-up session on Silicon Start-Up Ecosystem for 3rd and 5th-semester students on 8 December 2020.
Dr. Debabrata Kar, Dean Academics at SiliconTech, welcomed the participants to the session and Dr. Mahendra P. Agasty, Faculty-In-Charge, ED Cell, spoke about the objective of the program.
SiliconTech is collaborating with FreeFlow (Mindspace Ventures), a Venture Building company for this purpose. Aaquib Hussain, the Founding Partner of the company addressed the students.
SiliconTech’s ED Cell is an initiative to build a platform that provides students with an opportunity to establish successful start-ups. During the year, the ED Cell received ₹.2.6 lakh from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, to conduct WEDP (Women Entrepreneurship Development Program) and TEDP (Technology-Based Entrepreneurship Development Program) programs.
