The Quiz Club of SiliconTech, the engineering institute of Silicon University, conducted ‘Spent Quiz 2024’ on 14 March 2024.
The Spent Quiz was based on sports and entertainment. The objective of the quiz was to expose young students to the wide world of college quizzing and provide them with a stage where they could showcase their quizzing abilities. It also aimed to foster self-confidence, community development, and teamwork among the participants.
The quiz was conducted in two rounds – preliminary and final. The seven best teams from a total of thirty five teams qualified for the final round.
The three best-performing teams emerged as the winners and runners-up. Swaraj Mohapatra and Biswanath Patnaik were the winners. The first runners-up were Anshuman Rath and Adyasis Maharana. Dibyesh Mohanty and Samyak Ranjan Panda were the second runners-up.
The quiz was conducted by Quiz Master Kashyap Panda and coordinated by Mr. Dhananjay Tripathy, Faculty Coordinator, Silicon Quiz Club. The students’ enthusiastic response and active involvement made this quiz successful.
