Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (SiliconTech) held its 13th Alumni Meet at the institute in the offline mode on 18 December 2021.
Prof. (Dr.) Saroj Kanta Misra, our Director, and Prof. (Dr.) Jaideep Talukdar, our Principal delivered insightful addresses following the customary lamp lighting ceremony and welcome song. Dr. Sanjit Kumar Swain, faculty-in-charge, Industry Interface Cell (IICELL), also shared the progress and achievements of the Institute and students over the past years.
The event featured performances and fun activities arranged by alumni and a virtual campus tour that rejuvenated attendees. The alumni were also treated to a sumptuous lunch and high- tea along with a gift hamper to felicitate them.
The event was coordinated by the Silicon Alumni Association team comprising of Dr. Biranchi Narayan Rath, Dr. Suchismita Rout and Dr. Debasish Nayak. Student council members and student volunteers participated enthusiastically and helped organize the event.
The alumni meet concluded with a vote of thanks by Secretary General of the Silicon Students Council, Debadutta Pattanayak. The event was attended by about 250 alumni.
